Now taking into consideration that it is the first book in a new paranormal series, I found her characters and environmental creations absolutely riveting and I am highly optimistic for the next book, Black and Blue, that is expected to come out in November 2013. I will not say that I was disappointed by any means, however, I found it a bit of a slow-starter.
